As the seasons change, many are geared up to pack away the cold weather clothing & shop for new spring attire. Here at Blond Genius, we are excited for warm weather styles, but it’s also the time of year to shop for the FUTURE seasons.
Last week, we took on the big city of NYC to find the best of the best for our fabulous customers at market. We must say, shopping for fall & winter is when some of our favorite finds appear.
With that said, let’s pause from our spring fever to take a sneak peek at what’s coming Fall 2018.
CORDUROY
We saw this trend EVERYWHERE. Whether it was found in jackets, tops or pants – this throwback material was incorporated into almost all styles. Not only is it coming back in neutrals, but you’ll also see a lot of colorful corduroy additions to our clothing racks.
A NEW COLOR PALETTE
Can you say fifty shades of FIRE? These hot colors were seen at almost every appointment we had. From bright to burnt, there is a shade here that will look good on everyone.
Another color we saw through and through, was a jaw dropping ELECTRIC BLUE. Let’s just say this color looks good on everyone – trust us, we tested it & we are obsessed.
BLUSH is here to stay. Through the last few seasons we have seen this subtle shade make an appearance in almost every style & it doesn’t look like it’s going away anytime soon! Honestly, we aren’t complaining either.
Last but not least, RAINBOWis making a major debut! Colorful striped sweaters, coats & accessories are following this eccentric trend.
JUMPSUITS & OVERALLS
Who knew a Blond Genius could double as a stylist mechanic? I mean, duh, we can do anything! 😉 We were hesitant at first, but once we saw jumpsuits everywhere – literally everywhere – we were all on board when we found the perfectly made fit for every body. Oh, and totally obsessing over the overall takeover, too.
METAL DETAILS
This fall, you’ll be unzipping your wallet for the metal trends! Denim, dresses, shoes & sleeves – no matter what it is, you can find a style with these edgy details on it. This hot trend is an obsession of ours, & we think you’ll agree once it all arrives!
If the zippers are too much for your style, but you still want the edgy look, we have you covered. Studs made a statement last season & they are just as strong this upcoming fall!
THE WILD WEST
Fringe, flair & embroidery gives us all of the western feels. We are obsessing over the jackets that are a total outfit maker – and perfect for a girls trip to Nashville! 🙂 This trend is so much fun to add to anyone’s wardrobe.
ANIMAL PRINT
Last but definitely not least, this trend will leave you feeling as FIERCE as ever. We found ourselves in the fashion jungle & we conquered it. It’s time to bring out your inner Jane, because animal print is back in action. Whether it be blouses, shoes or jackets, prepare your closet to earn it’s spots this fall.
